Can I reuse yesterday's paper ticket if I didn't travel?

Bought a one-way Andheri → Ghatkopar ticket last evening but didn't end up traveling. Is it valid today? Or do I need to refund and rebuy?

Refund is usually available at the same station within 1 hour of purchase, not next day unfortunately.

Single-journey tickets are only valid on the day of purchase. The QR expires after the same-day return window closes. You'll need to buy a new one.
