History

Conceived in the 1960s as part of Mumbai's urban planning, construction finally began in 2018 by MMRDA. Built by a consortium led by Larsen & Toubro. Named after former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Inaugurated by PM Modi in January 2024.
