History

Built by MGM (Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer) in 1938, designed by Thomas Lamb, a renowned American theater architect. It was the first air-conditioned cinema in Mumbai and screened many Hollywood premieres. Restored and reopened as Metro INOX Heritage in 2023.
